FanDuel - WFBC

Straight to DVD for a reason: It's not in the same rink as "Slap Shot," but "Slap Shot 2" doesn't stink as bad as the 2001-02 Florida Panthers. There are two Bobby Orr punchlines, the Hanson Brothers, and an adequate cast of characters. This wasn't even to close to watching "Mad Love." You won't light yourself on fire and run around the neighborhood to alert friends NOT to rent the DVD. I, for one, will rent this movie, since I have seen the first more times than I have had a hot meal. My favorite sports commentator takes a look at the sequel.

Slap Shot is a classic. Sadly, I may not even rent Slap Shot 2. Here are 2 reasons why: 1) Stephen Baldwin - no commentary necessary. 2) "Gary Busey has a new game plan" - see above.

Kind of off-topic, but Buccigross gets points for saying that Samsonov "could play on a line with Carson Daly and a jar of mayonnaise and still produce". Hilarious.

You should change your name to Carson14. No chance I watch this movie. The inevitable disappointment will only diminish my high regard for the original.

I'll probably watch SlapShot 2: Electric Bugaloo... Hell, I've watched Mystery Alaska 5 times

Warning: I just returned from Cockthruster (er, sorry...Blockbuster) and have Slap Shot 2 in my hands. Life may never be the same again. T-minus 2 hours until I begin watching. Side note: Stephen Baldwin deserves to be saved from an eternity in Hades only for his performance in The Usual Suspects, which I picked up today on DVD. Also: when Jaromir Jagr returned to training camp a few years back after cutting the mullet in the offseason, Buccigross said (in his best Dr. Evil voice): "There's nothing like a shorn Jagr...it's breathtaking, really." He also gets mad props for his chalupa references: "Shanahan drops the chalupa to Yzerman..." Ok, ok...I'll stop.
