NFL owners are just as smart and brave as you'd imagine.

What The Face happened in the 3rd period in Boston?

Experience beat out youth, and Freddy Andersen finally had a bad period (after 8 good ones in a row).

Both Toronto teams had a lead against the Boston teams at some point tonight, and both lost in the end.

Raptors won, Marlies lost, but TFC is currently deadlocked with Chivas (3-3 aggregate and even in away goals) in the 2nd half of the final.

As a Canadian with English grandparents, I think I'm quite confident in saying that penalty kicks suck.

Not entirely sure as I'd consumed enough beer my critical eye was long retired. It was an amazing series and could have gone either way. The Bruins/ Lightning series should be another good one. Ideally the Good Bruins team will show up more than they did in the last seven games.

TFC came oh so close to winning that in regulation .. striker had too much time and blasted the late opportunity over the net when a nudge would have secured the win.

Leafs growing pains were highlighted in game 7. Anderson can't be expected to steal all 4 victories in a series and the Leafs were brutal defensively as a team throughout. Too much blame was directed Gardner's way when it appears like the entire forward group outside of Marleau were taught defensive zone play by Phil Kessel ("don't go there"). And when your best player in a series besides your goaltender is 38 year old free agent Marleau there is a lot of work yet to get to the next level. Biggest worry at this point is how long Anderson can continue to will this team to victory on a nightly basis while the youth develops.
