RIP Keith Jackson. Many fond memories. The broadcast equivalent of comfort food.

If God has an OL, let us know who the bell cow is.

There must be a big game coming up in Heaven; Keith Jackson will be there.

Whoa Nelly

Waiting to see if Col. Sarah Huckabee Sanders will claim that the president is a massive Big East fan and actually said "Seton Hall".

Cyle Larin was photographed getting a physical exam at Besiktas while Orlando City SC still has two years of options on him. This move seems like an agent-driven stunt to get him transferred.

I found this part of the Pro Soccer USA story bizarre:

In the past, MLS players have argued they were unaware of their player or club option years when they sought transfers to new clubs and FIFA sided with them, allowing the transfers to go through.

To avoid any chance of losing Larin before his contract expired, Orlando City officials said Larin signed an agreement in early 2017 stating he was aware he had two club option years for 2018 and 2019 and they were valid.

Some MLS players have gotten out of contracts by claiming they didn't know the option years on their contracts?

How far in the past was that? The MLS has come a long way so I would bet that contracts are much more in depth now. I'm guessing maybe what you're talking about happened in the early years of the MLS...? Of course there weren't many players sought after back then, like there are now. US Soccer has come a long way but it still has a long way to go.
