rcade, are you going down to Boca this week to see Lane Kiffin's FAU Hootermen try to slow down the North Texas Mean Green's bowl bound express train?

Are you kidding? He's there right now, tailgating his life away

Team rcade's primary support vehicle is just arriving.

Secondary services setting up now, waiting for their permit.

When I encounter one of those trucks on the road I follow it to the destination.

I should make the trip down but our second car has become a paperweight.

Get a four door economy car on weekend rates with unlimited mileage from Enterprise.

Manageable. Justifiable.

But you have to stay in the state of Florida. Don't cross the river into Georgia or you void the terms. So if you wanted to head north on US 17 to smell the paper mills, sorry, hombre, no can do.

Permit? This is Florida. rcade is using the permit application to start the fire for the smoker.

As for the car: what is wrong with it? Have you tried turning it off and back on again? Does it have fuel in it? Have you checked the blinker fluid? If it's not topped off, the car won't start.

October 15, 1988 - Los Angeles Dodger Kirk Gibson hits a walk-off home run in the playoffs.

Fast forward exactly 29 years...

October 15, 2017 - Los Angeles Dodger Justin Turner hits a walk-off home run in the playoffs.

No other Los Angeles Dodgers player hit a walk-off home run in the playoffs in between those.

Also, for the sake of craziness, this has to be mentioned (as someone pointed out on Reddit):

Joe Maddon, on why he used John Lackey (a bad starting pitcher) instead of Wade Davis (his closer) in the bottom of the 9th: "We needed [Wade Davis] for the save."

Now, if you're paying attention, this is pretty much what Buck Showalter said when he used Ubaldo Jimenez (a bad starting pitcher) instead of Zach Britton (his closer) in the 2016 AL Wild Card game, and it ended like this.

What makes it even crazier?

In the 2016 game, Showalter took out Brian Duensing and put in Jimenez, who gave up a 3-run walk-off home run.

In tonight's game, Maddon took out Brian Duensing and put in Lackey, who gave up a 3-run walk-off home run.
