I watched that 3rd period last night and I saw an NHL team vs the Keystone Kops. The Caps could not get out of their own way and I lost count of the turnovers that they committed. They looked worse than the late-era Hurricanes on their worst nights.

I'll be out on Harkers Island doing some fishing and carpentry work this weekend, so here's some NHL picks:

Nashville in 6
Pittsburgh in 6

This has been doing the rounds for a while. A few veterans from the extremely violent 1974-75 Ashes Series between Australia and England share a few stories. David Lloyd's description of being hit in a sensitive spot by a 95 mph ball from Jeff Thomson is the highlight. You don't have to understand cricket, but you might have trouble with the accents.

Pittsburgh in 7

So I have visions of Lonzo Ball dropping in the NBA draft because organizations won't want anything to do with his nut case father.

The Senators will play in front of a sellout crowd for the 2nd time this season and TSN is forced to admit that there is at least one other NHL team in Canada other than the Leafs.
