I'm still unsettled in my thoughts about the GS Warriors.

I do wish that Durant wasn't on the team. I am not interested in that.

And I was stunned and thrilled to find out that the Spurs whomped them on their own court in the season opener last night. It was an instantaneous gut reaction. I didn't even think about it.

Here's hoping that they underachieve and that Durant opts out and goes elsewhere.

That's a weird story in more ways than one. Why is it called preteen football when the players are 13-14?

The overall program is called "Preteen Football", and it includes age-based divisions from Flag (5-6 years old), Jr. Pee-Wee (7-8), Pee-Wee (9-10), Jr. Varsity (11-12), and Varsity (13-14). "Prehighschool" would seem to be more accurate, but unwieldy.
