When I see the bottom of the 8th inning in the Dodgers/Marlins game, I wonder if it set a record for the longest half-inning with 0 hits, 0 errors, and 0 runs scored.

Bottom 8th: Justin Nicolino pitching

  1. A.J. Ellis grounded out, second to first
    • Bryan Morris replaces Jutin Nicolino as pitcher
    • Chase Utley pinch-hits for Trayce Thompson
  2. Chase Utley walked
    • Yasmani Grandal pinch-hits for Pedro Baez
    • Cody Ege replaces Bryan Morris as pitcher
  3. Yasmani Grandal walked, Chase Utley to second
    • David Phelps replaces Cody Edge as pitcher
    • Joc Pederson pinch-hits for Enrique Hernandez
  4. Joc Pederson walked, Chase Utley to third, Yasmani Grandal to second
    • Jos Urena replaces David Phelps as pitcher
  5. Yasiel Puig struck out swinging
  6. Adrin Gonzlez flied out to right

That's five different pitchers to face six batters, with four of the pitchers facing only one batter in the inning. That's also three different pinch-hitters, producing exactly zero hits. Only two balls were put into play for the inning.
