'Canes trade captain Eric Staal to Rangers. The Rangers get Staal (and I believe the Hurricanes are retaining 50% of his salary) for two second round draft picks and a young Finnish prospect, 19 year old Aleksi Saarela.
As a Hurricanes fan, I'm OK with this trade as Eric has been mediocre, at best, the last few seasons and is being paid a metric tonne of moneys. I believe that the Hurricanes now have six picks in the first three rounds of the draft this year and six picks in the first three rounds of next year's draft.

Watching Wenger's Arsenal is like watching a well oiled machine. Everybody knows their role and the parts they have to play.

Golden State has clinched a playoff spot. In February. And you know what else is amazing? San Antonio is only 3.5 games behind them in the standings.
