Fourteen of Jaromir Jagr's current teammates on the Florida Panthers were born after his NHL debut on October 3rd, 1990. As the season continues, I'm sure more players will be added to that list.

In Gordie Howe's last NHL season, 34 of his teammates were born after his NHL debut in 1946.

Turned on Sportscenter just in time to hear Trevor Matich's concerns the integrity of the college playoff polling process could be upset by "A fourteen year-old who has never seen a football game with a spreadsheet."

Also, either Chris Mortensen has tried to become a real reporter during the NFL trade deadline and hasn't slept in days or he brought a fifth of Wild Irish Rose on set. When Chris McKendry asked him about the possibility of Philly trading for Colin Kaepernick:

Mort: "Philadelphia's backup is Mark Sanchez."
McKendry: "Yes, I know."

What was the context for this, if there was any?

There was some weirdness during MNF. Two protesters lowered themselves on ropes from the upper deck, stayed suspended and unfurled a banner.

The Washington football team has taken a slightly different tack in defending (?) their team name. Basically, "Yeah, it's offensive. ... So?"

Well, at least it's less disingenuous than their previous "honor" bullshit.
