I've updated the standings for the NFL Pick 'Em with the correct ChicoBangs formula for the margin of error. I will be doing some spot testing on the results to look for bugs.
I wrote Java code to do almost all of the work. The only thing I do manually is minor cleanup on user entries. The code is learning all the different ways players refer to teams.
There are two robots playing. One is Algorithm, who always picks the home team to win by 10. The other is 538, who uses FiveThirtyEight's ELO Predictions, rounds fractional spreads up and ignores games where it calls it a 50/50 and doesn't pick a winner. They're not eligible to win. I just was curious how they'd do.

On that Colts play, my guess is that it was supposed to be a play to get an illegal formation on the Patriots. It was 4th and 3, so this would've been a first down. But the Colts didn't line up correctly. What a trainwreck. It gifted the Patriots the ball at midfield.
