That seems like a totally real punishment and in no way just a pause in standard operating procedures while FIFA hopes you stop noticing. Especially given who's deciding if it sticks. I like that the real punishment (6 years) went to the guy who is speaking out and hoping to run for president next time.

May I nominate, for the FIFA positions and board, us? Surely we couldn't harm the world in the way this crew has.

At least there may be one good thing from all of Sepp's work: Guam (2-1-1) has a legitimate shot at Asian World Cup qualifying second round. Thanks for looking out for the little people (even if they are U.S. territories).

Speak for yourself. Give me $2,500,000 and you can have a world cup on the moon.

Apparently FIFA is discussing delaying the presidential election due to the suspensions. WTF? If anything, the suspensions should force FIFA to bring the elections closer!

FIFA may need more time because they're considering an offer they just received proposing that they swap places with the U.S. House of Representatives.
