Jose Altuve (5'6") leaves his feet to hit a high fastball.
(It was probably a hit and run play.)

Just gross: "The Political-Messaging Huckster Behind Roger Goodell's Awful Presser".

A dash of weirdness being added to the Rob Bironas accident, as some university students claim Bironas told them he was going to kill everyone in their car on the night of his death.

This comes after a recording was released of a 911 call claiming Bironas had tried to run a woman and her husband off the road.

It's been a rough season up in Ann Arbor.

"There's some things you can cover up. And there's some things you can't."

I can't believe Ray Lewis said that,

The gospel according to Ray.

Give me a break already. If Ray Lewis needs face time to stroke his ego he ought to just be himself because he isn't fooling anyone.

Nobody buys the Reverend Ray act, including himself.

Ray Lewis should've been the last person to ever comment on the Ray Rice situation since he has close ties with the Raven's organization. Considering his own past and what he went through and with the Raven's sticking by him throughout it all, what else did anyone expect him to say?

Nobody buys the Reverend Ray act, including himself.

Amen

Seriously, who in the ever-loving fuck at ESPN thought, "Yeah, we definitely need to hear from Ray Lewis on this. That can't possibly make him and us look like incredible fucking morons."? If I'd been on that set, I would have taken a fire axe to the fusebox to keep that off the air.

Same people allowing commentators to kill Charlie Strong while they have Mack Brown on the payroll. Guy this morning basically said Strong's problem was that he wasn't Mack Brown.

Phil Hughes, a pitcher for the Minnesota Twins, will get a $500,000 bonus if he throws 210 innings this year.

Coming into today's game, Hughes needed to pitch 8.1 innings to reach the milestone and trigger the bonus.

He threw 8 innings today (giving up only one run) before the rain arrived and put the game into delay. His team is ahead 2-1, and if it keeps raining for the too much longer, the umpires might declare it an official game. If they do, then he will fall one out short of the milestone, and won't get the bonus. He needs his team to bat in the bottom of the 8th, and then get one guy out in the 9th.

So it looks like that Twins-D'backs game continued, but Hughes did not return in the 9th. Ouch.

What's to stop Ron Gardenhire from putting Hughes in for 1/3 of an inning if the situation allows it on Saturday or Sunday?
