It's a shock to me and a shock to you: old friend Luke Scott has run into some cultural differences in Korea.

Funny Vine alert: South Africa cricketer Quinton de Kock thought he had pissed off teammate Dale Steyn (who is a rather intense sort of fellow).

(hat tip to Baseball Think Factory for pointing this out)

So that's why we haven't heard from Danny Darwin in 28 years.

Are we doing the NFL pick-em again?

I thought it was because "Danny Darwin" was an alias of Jake "The Snake" Roberts.

The NFL Pick Em will be set up today or tomorrow. It'll be the same as last year, run on Yahoo.

Chase Headley has a hit in all 30 ballparks.

Adam Dunn hit a HR in his first game with the A's. He was traded to the A's by the White Sox.

What does Yahoo have up it's sleeve for this year's pool registrants ... mandatory DNA sample submissions?

Got a better alternative? I haven't set it up yet.

No, of course not. I'm one of those idiots who complains about something without providing an alternative/solution.

I know he's not hitting very well, but the man IS still alive, right?
So why do they need to wear a patch in his honour?

Also, how...messed up... is it that he'll be honouring himself?

All that is left is for him to end his speech on the final day with:

"Today [today], I consider myself [myself], the most awesome man [man] on the face of the Earth [earth]."

When a-fool-and-his-money Lou Gorman felt compelled to bring Danny Darwin to Boston and triple his salary, the press asked Darwin how he felt about his new contract.

His answer: "Now I can finally add another bathroom onto my parents' house, which I've been wanting to do for a long time".

He couldn't finance a north Texas bathroom on the 1.2 million he had earned the year before. What, he shopped for the fixtures in Saudi Arabia? They had to frack the backyard to put in the Jacuzzi?
