With a day off from the World Cup, I guess we can talk about other sports.

Basketball - Another Canadian taken 1st overall in the NBA draft, and three taken in the first twenty picks. The Cavs now have three Canadian 1st round picks on their roster. The Raptors came SO close to getting one of them (Tyler Ennis), missing him by two picks.

The Dallas Mavericks had no picks in the draft last night. Since 2004, only two of the players selected with their first pick that year have scored even a single point for the team. And those two only combined for 88.

Mavs are such a well run organization otherwise it's a shame they don't put more emphasis on the draft.

Once again, Cowherd can't stop talking about how soft European players are and how tough all the American players are. Methinks the boy doth protest too much.

I just like that Joe Harris gets to remain a Cavalier.
