Zlatan politely refuses a pass from the keeper:

Honestly, is there something about Zlatan that makes all of his goals memorable? Does he score ordinary goals, or is everything a highlight reel.

I understand that Ronaldo and Messi are the better all-around players, but Zlatan is surely the most highlight-worthy player of his generation, right?

Reminds me of a quote I saw a while ago from RVP.

"Pure strikers are very horny. They are horny to score a goal. I call it horny football. Like a man can hunt on a woman, that's how a topscorer sees it. It's like a sexual challenge in the net. I'm not as horny as Ruud van Nistelrooij is. He lives to score. I have other parts of the game that makes me satisfied. That's why I will never be a topscorer." -- Robin van Persie

Zlatan fits this description well. :)

Seeing Zlatan makes me sad he won't be at the World Cup. He agrees: "One thing is for sure, a World Cup without me is nothing to watch."

NFL team helmets redone for the Star Wars universe: AFC and NFC. (Although missed a golden opportunity by not using Boba Fett or another bounty hunter for the Saints.)

I couldn't agree more. No Zlatan is a big disappointment heading into the World Cup and THE reason I had a rooting interest in the Sweden-Portugal playoff. I understand that the other result means Ibrahimovic in and Ronaldo out, but I'll watch Zlatan over Ronaldo all day long.

And Ribery.

I think the helmets also missed out on the Rams and the banta horns.

I know that we are all aware of The Onion, but this has to be one of my favorite bits they have ever done.

Steve Stamkos unable to play for Team Canada at Sochi Games. Stamkos had 23 points in 17 games prior to breaking his leg in November.

A massive blow to the Canadian team. This is the best goal scorer over the past 3+ seasons, and there really isn't a replacement for him. Only losing Crosby could be worse for the Canadians.
