Gregg Easterbrook had a great suggestion for what Minnesota should have done when it fair caught a punt at its own 34 with one second remaining in overtime: Attempt a fair catch kick.

The kick is from the spot of the catch and cannot be blocked by the defense. The kicker gets to run up to the kick more than he would normally. Though extremely unlikely, Blair Walsh had a better shot to make that than the Vikings did to complete a pass for 76 yards.
