*sigh* It was seven years ago tonight that the Hurricanes won the Stanley Cup. What an amazing night that was.

Josh Hamilton was 0-5 last night with 2 Ks while grounding into 3 double plays , leaving 7 runners on base as a result. He's only the second player since 1916 to strike out twice while grounding into 3 double plays.

Hamilton's win probability added (WPA) -- which measures the percentage by which a player improves or worsens his teams chances to win -- was -.477. In other words, Hamilton reduced the Angels' chances of winning by 47.7%.

"It's been weird, man," Hamilton acknowledged in an interview with Yahoo Sports

He's been dropped to the 7th spot for tonight's game.

The only reason I'm enjoying his misfortune is this crack. He didn't need to crap on DFW after getting the massive contract he wanted. And the premise that "true baseball fans" won't boo a player who comes back in a division rival's uniform is -- as the kids say -- totally whack.

Watching the OT.

Toews left hand/wrist must be broken - he never skates without his hands on his stick, he is tonite.

Real bad news for Patriots fans. Gronk already out, now Hernandez in big doo doo .... does Belichick have Tebow slated as a starting tight end?

The only reason I'm enjoying his misfortune is this crack.

I don't like the guy, and even I'm cringing at his at bats. Last night, he looked completely helpless.

Everything points to Hamilton being a head case, but since I'm not his psychiatrist, and have no degree in that field, I'll just say that he seems really sensitive to 'booing', even as he tries to blow it off.
