I went to the draft yesterday and ended up being recruited into a "crowd" to be filmed for reaction shots for a Kevin Costner movie.
British Tackle Menelik Watson was first by - he looked confused when I shouted "Mancini out!" at him.

When I shouted "enjoy Kansas" Joeckel laughed, but Fisher didn't. I like to think that's why they picked him.

Sources are reporting that Russell Westbrook is potentially going to be out for the remainder of the playoffs after suffering a knee injury (requiring surgery) in Game 2 of the Rockets-Thunder series. Without Harden around to pick up the scoring load, seems like this opens up the West considerably, making a Heat-Thunder rematch more unlikely.

Some quotes from Tigers pitchers after Anibal Sanchez struck out 17 batters today. For context, Max Scherzer's career high is 15 strike outs and Verlander's is 14.
'We were joking after the game that Anibal is No. 1, I'm No. 2 and Ver is just average,'' Scherzer said. When told about that comment, Verlander - a former MVP and Cy Young Award winner who has thrown two no-hitters - paused briefly. ''That's OK,'' he said. ''I've got a few other things.''
