New Mexico's loss to Harvard in the NCAA Tournament has had a deep and lasting affect on a veteran NM sportswriter.

On edit: the link may or may not work. They may be in the process of deleting the writer's post on Loboland.

Wow. After the title and first line, I thought he was going to go a different way with that. More specifically, I thought it was going to be about UNM fans turning their backs on the team, but instead he is the one who bailed.

I think Dumervil will be good for the Raven's but I'm not sad to see him go. He gets eaten alive in the run game as a 4-3 End and had the quietest 11 sacks I've ever seen last year. The worst part about losing Elvis is that we no longer have Von Dum as a nickname for our pass rush.

UIowa sports fans will recognize this stage of "getting to know Steve Alford."

I noticed Geoff during last night's game because of his great taste: we both have that tie.
