UCI claims 'moral authority' to lead cycling: Agreeing that wrong-doing uncovered by other investigators after years of denial (and possibly coverup) enables one to retain "moral authority." Mmmkay!

I would hope that it's only certain people running UCI and not the whole organization itself that has been part of the problem. At the very least they need to clean house at the top and somehow introduce more transparency.

I see Pat McQuaid referenced FIFA in the press conference yesterday (although in relation to them having millions in the bank).

The UCI probably looks at FIFA for moral leadership, too.

And porn stars (for moral leadership-- I'm sure they can find porn stars without using FIFA's stable).
