Well, at least the Bloody Sox finished higher than their Red namesakes. I blame it all on injuries, nobody buying my bricks or coffee table books, having to play in a 100-year-old stadium, and my general manager. Actually, I can't blame my GM, since he is, after all, my kid, stands 3 inches taller than I, and outweighs me by about 30 pounds. He's also 48 years younger, so I have to be careful there.

A second place last year and a third place this year. Nothing to be ashamed of. Bperk you had a monster team. Your victory was well deserved.

Congratulations, sir.
My own team, Tyventasavalta, came in second after my batting slumped in the final two weeks of the season. Before then, we had been slugging it out for 1st with daily changes in the lead through the beginning of September. As it is, I just barely held off BrianN's Lemon Frosting who held on to third place fairly easily, as the top 3 placing teams pulled away from the pack in early August.
