One Year Ago, Yaroslavl Lokomotiv Died: One year ago at this hour, 36 players, team officials and eight crew members of the Kontinental Hockey League hockey team Yaroslavl Lokomotiv died in a plane crash leaving for a game in Minsk. The new team returned to KHL play with a victory Thursday night in Siberia. The director of the now-defunct airline that flew the plane has been criminally charged because the flight's captain was using forged qualification documents and the co-pilot had not completed a requalification exam. New Lokomotiv players include the former NHLers Viktor Kozlov, Niklas Hagman, Sami Lepisto, Vitaly Visnevsky and Curtis Sanford.
