Pujols was 3 for 4 last night with 2 RBI. All 3 hits were ground balls that never left the infield, but you gotta start somewhere.

SpoFi Fantasy Premier League Final Standings in the Locker Room. Spoiler alert: Holden takes the trophy.

I think that may be my fourth consecutive SpoFi FPL trophy. It's all going to fall apart when financial fair play is introduced, though.

Let's make sure someone sets up a Euro 2012 fantasy league when the teams are announced (you can go to the site now, but the team data is junk).

Pujols' numbers BEFORE he hit his first/only home run this season:

.194/.237/.269

Pujols' numbers AFTER he his his first/only home run this season:

He's getting better!

Not good enough: Halos heave (non-)hitting helper Hatcher.

Having Hatcher energy superseded by Pujols energy is not a good thing.

With such luminary hitters on his resume like Jeff Mathis, Dallas McPherson, and Brandon Wood, I'm surprised that Hatcher hung on as long as he did.

True dat; 3 for 4 with two infield singles last night...he's finally replacing Chone Figgins' production in the Angels' lineup.

"Liverpool sack manager Dalglish"

That'll be Jordan Henderson's first assist of the season.

They brought him to Boston to give him the bad news. This reinforces the idea that Boston has been a bad place for citizens of the UK since the middle of the 18th century.

Deadspin mashes up the survival Sunday games along with reactions of fans to goals in other stadiums.

EPL soccer is awesome.

My favorite comment, by Ian Darke: "Cue bedlam."

The Saints will keep an empty seat around at team activities and trips this year in honor of suspended coach Sean Peyton.

Wheeee! I get to be that guy.

When Dzeko scores their standings bar at the bottom gives a green arrow to City that shouldn't be there until Aguero makes it 3-2. At 2-2 the title was still going to United.

Other than that, and the dodgy drumkit music, it was very good.
