He's from my hometown, I've met him a couple of times. Calling him a knob is actually quite charitable.

I didn't realize the pool he dove into was filled with blood. Did you get a look at his mouth after the hit?

I didn't realize the pool he dove into was filled with blood. Did you get a look at his mouth after the hit?
Considering the collision brush was shoulder to shoulder, I'm not sure how a Capitals player would be responsible for the blood in his mouth.

Considering no one touched his face, it's probably from him biting his lip when he hit the ice.

Brad Marchand attempts to qualify for the Canadian Olympic diving team
NHL needs to start enforcing the diving penalty. If the on-ice referees don't call the infractions then the league office needs to at the least start levying fines.
