That was rather fast, given that he announced he was going into hospice care just a few days ago. I'm glad that his demise was obviously not drawn out and painful.
RIP, Killer. Greatest slugger name ever, and a great slugger and great man, too.

He was one of the defining players of his era and a first class person as well. RIP, you will be missed.
