Sad. Classic player from baseball's past, and truly one of the names synonymous with the game. RIP.

That was rather fast, given that he announced he was going into hospice care just a few days ago. I'm glad that his demise was obviously not drawn out and painful.

RIP, Killer. Greatest slugger name ever, and a great slugger and great man, too.

He was one of the defining players of his era and a first class person as well. RIP, you will be missed.
