2011 Stanley Cup Pickem, Conference Finals Edition: So once again, we are assured of not seeing an Original Six matchup in the Finals. Frankly, I blame Gary Bettman, but then I blame him for everything. Post your picks inside...

Once again I have no chance of winning this pool ... when does the "Is Bettman to Blame" pool commence? I'm certain I could tie for first in that one.

Vancouver vs San Jose will be a grinder of a series. The question is if Luongo can stop a potent Sharks offense. I say he will, and Canucks prevail in 7.

Under normal circumstances I would predict Boston to discharge the Bolts in 5, but with Bergeron down at least for the start of the series, things change. Look for the bear to do his Bruins' victory dance in 7.

I don't know if it's too late -- I've been so very, very busy -- now that Game 1 of the East has been played (I was gonna pick Boston anyway : ). But here are my picks before the West starts (and what I was gonna pick for the east):

Boston 6 San Jose 6

Not too late, mkn...I haven't even posted my picks yet... =D

Ahhh-out of town until today. Maybe the picks I make will indicate that I have no idea that the Bolts won big last night.

Like I said in the first round, unless you're egregiously late, your picks will count. If there was more time between rounds I'd be stricter, but so it goes...

I forgot. I'll take San Jose, in 7. Tampa in 7. Or discard if too late. Thanks either way.
