Jim Tressel Strikes a Pose: The Ohio State Alumni Association offers people a chance to have a photo taken with head football coach Jim Tressel. Whether he'll look up or not is another matter entirely. Feel the love.

That is goddamn hilarious. He can't even be bothered to look up? Wow.

Just the other day, someone (might have been Earle Bruce) said that no one had ever done more for OSU football than Tressel.

Right here, he's shooting the program frame by frame, Zapruder style.

So...every picture is taken while Tressel is signing an autograph? The whole thing seems really strange to me. Yeah, he's not looking up, but he also happens to be in the act of signing something in each picture. To me, it just looks like the meet and greet/photo op procedure was poorly conceived, not that he's some kind of asshole.

I counted 17.5 (the half was one where he was kind of looking at the camera) pictures where he was looking at the camera. Most seemed to be capturing him in the middle of doing something else, and he was incidentally looking toward the camera.

I think this one was my favorite, though, based solely on Tressel's reaction.

I think the key is to ask for a picture or ask for an autograph, but do not do both. He can't do two things at the same time, like sign and smile, walk and chew gum, coach and follow rules, etc.

That's not fair. I distinctly remember seeing Tressel walking and chewing on more than one occasion. Walking very slowly, but walking nonetheless.

Or maybe the photographer could wait until Tressel finished with the autograph and then take the photo.

No mention is made of what percentage of each photo sale Tressel gets to keep.
