The guy was dominant before injuries. Too bad.

An amazing player(when healthy). Someone will pick him up to play 8 games with them and then miss the second half of season hurt.

Or maybe pick him up late in the season so that he could play the second half of the season. Patriots could make a play for his services.

Bummer.

From a business-minded perspective, I can see it, though. Thought experiment: how nervous will Colts receivers be if Manning sets them up across the middle (like he does with regularity) and Sanders is waiting for them?

Bad day for Iowa sports links, btw: the wrestling thing, the ridiculous 3-point bombs-away thing, now Sanders is cut.

Loved watching him at Iowa--opposing receivers all but shied away from the ball when the even sensed he had them in his crosshairs.

He is a great player although always considered to be undersized . I wonder how much that contributed to his being injured so much. He played very big but that is hard on the body.

Considering he has played nine games in the past three seasons and only twice played more than ten games I wouldn't go anywhere near him.
