Patrick Crayton finally gets his wish to be traded.: Dallas received only future considerations, likely a late-round draft pick. The club figured it was better than cutting him and getting nothing, plus it puts him in the other conference.

"We really waited to evaluate all our receivers. We feel very comfortable with our depth."

A guy with a history of injuries who had a breakout year last season. A guy who has done virtually nothing since joining the Cowboys. A guy who has yet to take a snap in even a preseason game. And whoever was sixth or seventh on the depth chart moving up to fourth. Barring injuries, they will probably be fine; but these moves (if Hurd goes too) really look like cost cutting. Other reports I have heard say Dallas gets a 7th round choice with possibility of increasing to a 6.
