Could resist the urge to check out your link, apoch. Had to see who has joined the witch-hunt. Oh, how historians will remember this time.

I have to say a link on the sidebar of that page caught my eye though. Especially for the recreational athlete, knowing that you don't "have to" have surgery might be a good piece of information.

Fabregas is staying put. This Japanese baseball player is on the move. And US Soccer announces its roster for a friendly again Brazil.

Spitzengle, nice pickup, interesting article. The conclusion was a little disappointing tho' - you are more likely to suffer ACL damage playing 'cutting' sports (soccer, basketball, etc) but they would still recommend reconstruction if you intend to keep playing those sports. No magic bullet yet.
