Nigerian Leader Bans Team from International Play: Nigeria President Goodluck Jonathan has suspended the country's soccer team from international play for two years after its disappointing performance in the World Cup. Governmental interference is a violation of FIFA rules, but the punishment for such an infraction is -- wait for it -- a ban from international competition.
