Starlin Castro Begins Cubs Career with 6-RBI Game: In his first game since being called up from Double A, Chicago Cubs shortstop Starlin Castro hit a three-run homer in his first at-bat and had six RBIs in the team's 14-7 win over the Cincinnati Reds. I still wouldn't be surprised for this to backfire on the Cubs.

He needs to retire. What's the likelihood of having a better day than that?

Yeah, I remember Kevin Maas (oddly enough, from Castro Valley, California) bursting onto the major league scene several years ago. After his hot start, he settled back to earth, then got progressively worse until, after bouncing around the league a while (and Japan) was out of baseball.

Nice game, Sterling, but hopefully you'll still be producing after major league pitchers have faced you once or twice.
