How ironic would it be if the Jets squared off with Minnesota and beat them in the Super Bowl? I suppose that is getting ahead of ourselves, but my picks reflect my idealist thinking.

Call this one an absolute lock!!!

I vaulted into contention- 2 points off the lead- by mimicking lil_brown_bat last week. Well, boredom_08 is a serious Costanza contender with 1 point total over both weeks- which is why I'm just copying their picks, which are sure to sweep the weekend and put me solidly in first place! :)

New Orleans by 4 as the scoreboard explodes from the numbers being put up.

Indianapolis by 11. Manning simply does not throw anything near Revis.

Jets have 44 solo tackles. Nobody gets tackled in the NFC game, and Indy needs gang tackling against the Jets' running game.

yzelda, if you go with a tie you can only get the point if it is a tie. If only one team gets it, you get 0.

Oh alright, Saints with 35 tackles...

Ugh. Spitz not make picks last week. Spitz pick bad anyway. Spitz lose on all PointSpread tickets in playoffs. Spitz should know better. Spitz can be dumb.

That said, Spitz picks:

Since the only one better to ever walk the earth than Brett Favre is an actual saint, I'm gonna have to think that he might need to be reminded of that this weekend (odd that it's Sunday?). Although, it seems that when I do wager on Saints' games, I'm the one who is learning a karmic lesson. Regardless, I'll take New Orleans by 10.

The Jets have gone too far for their own good at this point. Indy is just a superior team, in my opinion. Manning could very well put on a clinic. Indianapolis by 17.

Jets with 38 solo tackles.

Ha, thanks for your faith in my ability to not get the Costanza, hincadenza. I hope you're right about my picks.

There's another game to pick, Mr. F.

This is the third round in a row MrF has not picked a winner in the Jets game. I'm sure it's on purpose.
