Testosterone injections change the way you use language - seems like the only person we can definitely say was drug-free during the Steroid Era is Rickey Henderson:

Overall, testosterone had the effect of suppressing the participants' use of non-I pronouns.

What a gem of a game last night between the Rangers and Devils, with Lundquist (45) and Brodeur (51) making 96 saves between them in a 0-0 tie. Somewhere, Gump Worsley is smiling.

It's not just that the ex-Pats are all getting back together, it's the apparent enthusiasm and delight that goes along with it.

As if they wanted to reunite, but not anywhere near Foxboro. For reasons unknown to outsiders (at least ones like me).

I'm just waiting for the the Patriots Video Co-ordinator to be signed by the Chiefs. Then we'll really know the band is getting back together.

The implication is obviously they all hate Belichick. Perhaps. Occam's Razor suggests they did it because they wanted to be able to have a shot at a head coaching job again. If Weis or Crennel went back to New England and the Pats were successful, they'd be forever thought of as just riding BB's coat tails.

Florida Marlins forced to increase payroll : Perennially frugal franchise reaches agreement with the players' union in the wake of complaints the team payroll has been so small as to violate baseball's revenue sharing provisions

Interesting take on it yerfatma. I'd say that if they reunited in NE and the Pats were successful, it'd be further proof that more of the early 00s success was due to Weis & Crennel than they're generally given credit.

Another loss for Liverpool as they're out of the FA Cup to bottom-of-the-Championship Reading.

Maxi Rodriguez will save us. He scored a great goal three and a half years ago, so he must be good and well worth 1.5 million quid.

Titus' Movember picture scares my dog.

Even scarier is the thought that I might be related to him. I will note that he does not look a thing like anyone in my immediate family, but distant cousin would be bad enough.
