Nobody posted anything yet? Nothing going on in the world of huddleable sporting topics?

Well I found this to be troubling on so many levels. The girls in the background seem downright manly in comparison. And for Pete's sake, don't leave me alone in here.

Wow THX, you just had to go there, didn't you? Well if that's the case, take this!

The question now, is do I poke out my eyes, and then drive the icepick into my ears, or do the ears first ?

The Horror, The Horror !!

That should be followed with the voice over: "Wanna get away?'

Can someone please tell me what the significance of the old lady with the bubbles and giant sunglasses was? Was an obviously gender confused Carl Lewis really going to go make the sexy time with her? And what do you suppose the eye liner budget for the video shoot was?

Please let's not try to do a VH-1 video breakdown for that God-awful attempt at music.

As long as she was giving up the good good.

Finally, someone in Toronto is starting to point fingers and realize that the Raptors are a terrible team. Interestingly enough, nobody points the fingers at Colangelo, who managed to compile an entire roster who doesn't play defense and whose major FA acquisition was a redundant, soft perimeter forward.

It's looking more and more likely that Chris Bosh will be moved before the trading deadline; this team is going nowhere fast and needs to rebuild (again.)

The rest of The Hoser will go up tomorrow morning, but here's tonight's game, which will be widely ignored here in Hockeyland.

NY Jets (-3) at BUFFALO [37]: The Bills will put Ryan Fitzpatrick under centre again. Fitzpatrick played his college ball at Harvard, which means if he has any success at all he'll be smart enough to get the hell out of Buffalo when his contract's up. Bills 20, Jets 19.

Game to be played in a somewhat disinterested Toronto.

Though the game is officially being called a sellout, tickets are still available on ticketmaster.ca at 4:09 pm.

And it seems people in Buffalo are not very impressed either:

Here's a financial blogger with an interesting slant on the NHL. Could this be some justification for moving some of the poorer performing franchises across the border?

Really? I haven't heard this at all but it makes sense if they have no chance to resign him.

Vikings RB Peterson gets 109 mph speeding ticket.

Peterson said he was headed to the downtown hotel where the team stays the night before home games. He said he was not late at that point.

"After I got pulled over, then I was late," Peterson said.

Ain't that they way it goes.

As someone that used to live in Edina, I'm very familiar with that road...extrememly hard to imagine going 109 MPH on it. It's a somewhat winding road that in under perpetual construction. However, his fumbling aside, AP probably has the reflexes to hand it.

And he has skin just like a football.

I thought his skin was like the Nike Pro combat suits.

As someone who drives on that highway on a nearly daily basis (living 2 blocks away from it), I can tell you that there are many areas where you can reach 109mph (not that I've ever done it). In addition, there are several places that are known speed traps, and I'm surprised that he chose to speed. On the other hand, if sitting still long enough to get a ticket made him late, I can understand why he was speeding in the first place. Now I just have to remember what I was doing the night before the game and see if I might have driven by him while he was sitting there getting his ticket.

seriously, jjohn? you must drive a hell of lot crazier than I do. Now, obviously, if AP has fast car I'm sure he can get to 109 MPH in a matter of a seconds, however, Crosstown in Edina wouldn't be where I'd be doing it.

She said Peterson was given a citation and allowed to drive away after what appeared to be a "very routine" traffic stop. The citation was given the night before the Lakewood, WA police murders. I suppose it was a "very routine" traffic stop at that time.
