Bengals Coach Tells Ochocinco to Cut the Mustard: Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chad Ochocinco will not be allowed to send mustard to members of the Pittsburgh Steelers in advance of their game at Heinz Field Sunday, coach Marvin Lewis told the player. Ochocino tweeted earlier, "I got a nice present for the Steelers -- sending them some mustard since they'll never ketchup when we play Sunday." This news will disappoint Steelers safety Ryan Clark. "He'd better send us something," he said Wednesday in Pittsburgh. "He sent something to the Ravens, so that shows he respects them. So he'd better send something to us."

Ochocinco is silly. I doubt the Steelers need any motivation for this game. It's a divisional game. But, I understand that Marv Lewis would want to keep the distractions to a minimum.

Also, that fool really legally changed his name!

I appreciate Ochocinco's effort to make the No Fun League a little more amusing. That ketchup line may be the corniest joke I've ever laughed at.

Maybe the Steelers will take a page out of the Belichick/Troy Brown playbook and use Hines Ward as a DB in a nickle or dime package. Just to cover Ocho. Best use of Ward's physical "talents" I can think of.

I wish Ocho would gain two hundred pounds and move to guard or tackle so we could rename him Soixante Neuf.

He did send the Steelers a rule change.

I think it should be a great game. Its a rivalry going in and actually means something for the first time in a few years. Cincy looks stong and I know i would not bet that game. The rookie corners look good too. This week will be a test for them. Palmer finally looks healthy. Sucks losing Henry for the year. He made it hard to double team the "oche" Should be a good one.

I think the "oche" is funny. I dont mind the little back and forth things between teams. At this level of football, I really dont buy the bulletin board material having any real meaning. If him sending mustard would really get the Steelers more fired up to play, then you shouldn't be in the NFL. Whats whong with a little fun.

use Hines Ward as a DB

Right - Ever seen coWard confront anyone face to face? Guy makes his living gooning players when they aren't looking ..

C'mon now, be fair. Those DBs can get in blind-side hits too.

I'm with you on the good game Debo, I just have a bad feeling about the ultimate outcome for a couple of reasons. First, it's tough as hell to win at Heinz field, no matter who you are. Second, it's really tough to sweep a season series against a division rival. Third, it's the Pittsburgh freakin' Steelers; somehow I doubt they'll roll over easily to let the Bengals get that huge advantage in the standings (with Oakland and Detroit on the horizon for Cincy.) Without our most effective pass rusher, I think Roethlisberger's going to give the secondary fits. I know Hall and Joseph have emerged as an elite tandem after a few years of playing together, but when someone has too long in the pocket, someone's going to get open. I'm not going to use Henry as an excuse (even though he's been a terror to the Steelers) because the Bengals are pretty damn deep at receiver, I just think that this week the Steelers are probably the better team.

Of course, should the Bengals win, then rescind all previous comments; nyah, nyah and all that good stuff.

What is the difference between Hines' hit and a hit that happens on a lot of punt returns? How many times have we all seen a guy get de-cleeted on a punt return? Nothing has been said about those hits being dirty.

As far as Chad 85's one liners go. He should have said something about the Steelers db's only seeing his Heinz-end as he's running toward the goal line.

In a related story.

Stuff like this makes me sad to be a teacher.

I do think it will be a good game. The Steelers have always been tough against the run and will need to shut down "Boat arrest" Benson. They had a little trouble with him last time. If they do that and can get some pressure on Carson, I think they will win. I am looking for a big game from Lamar Woodly and James "beat my girl" Harrison. They are due.

As a Steeler fan, I am a little worried. These are not the "BUNGLES" of old. Here is to hoping they find a way to Bungle it up.

Having watched the TV show hard knocks done with the Bengals this year, I was not expecting them to be this good.

I like Chad 85 (thanks for the cue, dbt302). I like foolish antics like his. I like endzone celebrations (as long as they aren't of the "fake bare ass variety that Moss did). I like the fun trash talk that he is engaged in. I even thought the dollar bill bribe was funny. You see, I get jokes. Chad likes to joke. He still plays hard and he still wants to win. I like the league to have some personality. A little bit of "showtime". Taunting is the dumbest penalty in the NFL.

If I want to watch robots battle it out I can watch God-awful Michael Bay and his Transformers movies. They do have Megan Fox's "acting".

They do have Megan Fox's "acting".

What's even more mind numbing than her so-called acting (just stand there and look pretty, pleeeeease!!) is her thumbs.

For the love of God man, WHAT THE HELL?!!?

Toe thumbs. Crazy. But is it "eating crackers in bed" bad? No. She just has to wear mittens.

Whoa!! What's wrong with eating crackers in bed? I once had a full course meal with desert back in '98 while I was in college with this sorority broad. Ahhhh, good times.

In a word (or a a few) BI:

crumbs in your cracker

But I guess it's better than mustard on your hotdog.

See? I'm still keeping it "on topic".

Again? What's wrong with a little bit of crumbs in you cracker? Spread a little mustard and you have yourself a snack for later on.

Thta reminds me of this one time, in band camp....

It's called a segue..you can't just jump right into Megan Fox's thumbs without a proper transition.

So the "sorority broad's" name was little mustard?

you can't just jump right into Megan Fox's thumbs without a proper transition. Have you seen them suckers? You can't even jump into them with a Husqvarna.
