Premier League - City reach Lescott stalemate: Manchester City manager Mark Hughes has admitted his bid to bring Joleon Lescott to Eastlands has reached an impasse, but is yet to give up entirely on the Everton defender

Something has to give, what with Moyes leaving Lescott behind for the Europa League game. Something between 22 and 30 mill now is better than sitting with a soured, expensive reserve team player.

I appreciate Moyes hanging onto his one asset, but please, please trade him while he's still really valuable. Everton needs depth and 22 million pounds would help with that.
