What to say SF? After the games there will be plenty.

I can say that anyone (I'm looking at you, Ives Galarcep) who picked Aston Villa to push up into the top four this season are likely already proved wrong. They were crap all over the world, to paraphrase Status Quo.

And with Villa having a home defeat by Wigan, that's why billsaysthis is currently third in our league. Well spotted, sir!

Fourth now. Still, better than where I was in May :)

Villa's form collapsed last year when Laursen disappeared and now they don't have Barry in the middle. They won three of their last 16 to end last season, I think, (two of those against Newcastle and Hull).

I know MON can turn sow into silk, but I think they'll really struggle this year, as they've lost a lot of steel there.

Rumours abound of disharmony in the Villa camp, payers fighting each other at pre season tournaments, players not supporting the team when they haven't been picked, that sort of thing.

It's all rather fantastic, unlike my dismal early season form. Is it too early to say I hate this game?

Ives picked Arsenal to finish 7th. What alternate universe is he living in. It's definitely possible that one of the top 4 could drop out of those spots, but two of them? And one as far as 7th. (I wonder how he feels about that after the Gunners put six past Everton).

Not as badly as I do. I was away for the day, came back and saw your post on Twitter about Arsenal's result and thought "Good for them". Then I remembered who Everton was playing in the first week.
