Hidden: Injured Players need to bow out: Brett Favre was injured yet continued to play; throwing 3 picks in a sad loss to Miami. He knew he was injured and should have sat out and at least provided his team the opportunity to win.

Need to link to an actual story there, slick. As for your opinion regarding Favre, he could throw 3 interceptions at any time, even with a good arm. He's always played the game out-his-ass a great deal of the time, throwing balls up for grabs, off his back foot, falling down, etc. and it worked really well when he was young (or in great football shape, which he wasn't this season). This just gives him a good excuse to get out of New York if he so desires.

Go back and watch the Jets beat the Dolphins in week one. The winning touchdown from a healthy Brett Favre is a fourth down heave to no one in particular.

Sometimes he gets away with them, sometimes he doesn't.

...as well as keeping personal opinions inside the comments and not in the FPP. Not a huge deal, it's just the done thing here.

Here's a link to an article on espn.com that says Favre's problem is a "torn biceps tendon and some calcification". The rest of the article is even more interesting to me, though, as it seems to suggest that Favre has no doubt that returning to play for the Jets is an option. He's not lacking in confidence, that's for sure.
