Some NFL stadiums now accepting tattling via text message.: Fans in some cities can now text stadium security the location of drunken, rowdy fans.

hah, I like the Bengals' text number. That's great. The system is just an invitation for abuse, but I guess it's worth a try.

At Ralph Wilson Stadium (Bills), if a simple text message would result in all the drunken dumbasses getting escorted out, it would mean 20,000 less people in the stands.

I can understand the drunk, abusive fan. But what about the people who are just LOUD? I can bellow louder than a bull elephant when my team is playing. And my "rebel yell" is just as ear piercing. Should I be kicked out of a game just for that? I think that would be a bit much.

In my defense, I want to say I don't do it constantly during the game, only on a score or a really great play.

If some fans want to watch a game where there is no fans swearing or drinking, maybe they should stay home and watch on TV.

You can do this in Australia, too.

But the staff at Sydney's Olympic Park didn't like it when I reported the whole West Coast Eagles cheer squad during a game against the Swans earlier this year.

Really, some people have no sense of humour.

If the fine print on your ticket (or the large print by the stadium entrance, or the loud voice over the stadium sound system) says, "Do this and you'll get tossed," you should expect to get tossed if you do this -- whatever "this" happens to be.
