Shaquille O'Neal's 5,000 misses.: An analysis of the greatest free-throw bricklayer of all time.

I haven't been following too much lately, but isn't Jose Calderon on some kind of streak at the charity stripe? Anyone know where he's at, or if it's still going?

Shaq's record from the line is atrocious. I wasn't really aware that Wilt was worse.

He is, but who cares. Raptors are the softest team in the laegue. It's maddening to watch. God I wish they would just sprout a pair of nuts. Collectively. Two nuts for the lot would be an improvement.

And I'll still take Shaq over virtually every NBA centre in history. At least 99% of 'em. 5,000 misses or not.

I know that this isn't anything to be proud of, but from what i can gather shaq has worked very hard on this weakness, and brought in more than one expert to help him fix the problem. For whatever reason, he just can't. I'm guessing his heighth combined with his frame makes it tough to do.

I kind of wish people would leave him alone about it. It seems like sour grapes to me. I bet he can sleep easily with his 4 titles above his headboard.

Agreed Weedy; he was so good, and is somewhat servicable now.
