Know when to hold 'em...: I had a look in the archives and couldn't find it, but I'm nearly sure someone recently was talking about an online SpoFi poker game. Is there one and can I get in it? If there isn't one, does anyone fancy founding one?

I'm happy to set it up (and stay up late in the UK) if people want to play. I use PokerRoom.com (cos it was the first one I found that worked with Mac and I didn't have to download any software), but I'm happy to play elsewhere if I can get it to work.

Is my money good here? I play in PokerRoom.com and HoldemPoker.com, which as far as I can tell are exactly the same place. If I can't give fellow SpoFites the benefit of any wisdom (having little to spare), I can at least give them fake money.

marvellous - should we call a time/date for a game? I'm around all weekend (which started a few hours ago, given that we haven't yet separated church and state and it's Easter) so can play whenever. I'm going to go on in a couple of hours to play some poker - if anyone fancies joining me for a game, that'd be grand.

OK - scrub that - the private table thing is "unavailable at present" so that's out the window. If you want to play sometime this weekend, mail me through my profile or homepage and we can schedule something that suits everyone. And in the meantime, could we all stop using this place like a damn private message board *cough*
