skydivedad are you going live for the live opening, or for the tape-delayed opening that's on tonight? Because I think the opening starts in like 45 minutes. (also I love the rings so don't take them down even if Jacques Rogge comes over and personally threatens your family)

Yea, Torino is 6 hours ahead of EST. So they really start at 2PM EST but alas I have to wait for the Tape Delay but I'll go ahead and set it up now and see if I can find a stream on the internet.

Well I don't know how many people will be watching right now -- I won't be able to since I am supposed to be working.

I can't find a live internet stream for the opening ceremonies without paying a broadcast fee! How much is 57,000 Euro's in dollars? That's per day! So, I'm agonna wait until the Tape Delay NBC Broadcast.

While I like the Spooortsfilter logo, isn't using the rings like that going to get you a cease and decist?

SpooooortsFilter!

We've used the rings before. I forget who made the logo. We'll cease if we're told to, and possibly desist, too.

Well, that was quick.

We decided to take the remove the Olympics version of the logo.

WHAT! WHAT! Did the IOC contact us? Oh man. How about using the Torino gold medal instead? It looks like an O.

Did the IOC contact us? No, but we decided it could be bad if they did. How about using the Torino gold medal instead? We thought of that, maybe with a torch coming out the top. But we don't have to skillz to pull it off (or haven't so far).

? It's transparent so it won't look too good on grey.
