Email commments: I am interested and maybe i didn't fill out my appilcation on this site correctly, but it would be great if like on other sites I use that if someone replys to my post that I get an email of that comment. It is interesting to see the comments made this is why we all use these sites to make comment and then view others. Maybe this could happen....maybe it already does.

That's a good idea, but you run into spam concerns. People forget they signed up for something and think you're spamming them, e-mails bounce from bad addresses, and the like.

Hey look I like the system the way it is. You have a point about the spam concerns, and with all the dud email addesses from 'post pirates' it would kind of be a waste. But thanks anyway for giving me a little information back on this.

Some sites work that way, others don't. It's a convenience, but not a necessary one except for those who just want to do a drive-by. You can still see all the comments to your post; in fact, this is a more convenient way to see them all than in a string of disassociated emails.
