The arm that changed the draft: "I've been through 28 drafts," Scott Boras says, "and Brien Taylor, still to this day, is the best high school pitcher I've seen in my life." Interesting article that makes you wonder what might have been.

From the Green Monstah to the green flag...

I'll give you that some baseball players may not look it, (i.e. dmitri young, papi, carlos lee) but the majority are in excellent shape, 6 plus months in a row grinding out games isn't at all easy and takes a huge toll on athletes minds and bodies just like any sport.

USC's 2004 BCS Championship Could Be In Jeopardy

So what, his family used a greedy agency to live a little, it's the agency's own fault for approaching a college athlete without putting anything in writing and had no direct affect on Reggie. I would hate the actions of some member of my family to have any bearing on me if what they did had nothing to do directly with benefiting me such as an endorsement deal, and no matter what anyone says or what a nosey report digs up or what stupid rules they have, USC is a great team and they can't ever really take away their championships other than some asterik in the record books, everybody will always know who really won.

Baseball and Softball Lose Reinstatement Vote

Of course nobody watched baseball or softball at the Olympics! There are no professionals to represent America, so the US baseball team didn't even qualify. As for softball, who is going to stay up until four in the morning to watch softball or pay a million dollars to fly over to see it? I would have watched it more but it was never on! The fact of the matter is that the Olympics are obsolete and stupid and softball needs to follow the example of the World Baseball Classic and just stick with it's own more legitimate international tournament, maybe even played in different countries instead of waiting every four years to play. Seriously, who is going to watch curling or any of that other crap they call a sport? Europe can keep the Olympics, as well as their wine, cheese and cigarettes. All they have become is another corrupt and politicized corporation.
