Sports Bio

I'm too lazy to make a banner that shows I beat all y'alls asses in the World Baseball Classis pick 'em game. And I beat the m-effin crap out of that m-effin Baseball Prospectus

I'm the co-champion! In yer face SpoFi!
Banner layout by dusted, football image found on the Web by jerseygirl, and gussied up bit by me.

Arguing Politics During My Vasectomy: So it's last Friday, and I find myself at Planned Parenthood in Jacksonville, lying flat on my back with my pants around my ankles, trying to find my happy place. Ask the Admins.:
Dear Admins,
Let's say I want to post a new FPP, but I don't want the post title to link anywhere. Well, if you don't include a URL in the box provided, it forces your post title to be a link anyway; it just links it back to SpoFi. Is there a way around this? I'm sure that people need a post title for their newsfeeds and what not.

Tharx,
NoMich

NFL Confidence Pool XLIII

Good call with the Chargers/Colts game, fraze. Sproles was the difference maker tonight. Actually, the Chargers' punter was pretty damn good, but Sproles had some pretty big runs tonight. It's official, the AFC is now wiiiiiide open. I thought for sure that the Colts had the AFC locked down.

I don't know fraze, I don't it's completely crazy to think that the Cardinals can sneak by the rookie-led Falcons at Arizona.

Raymond van Barneveld comes up with a 9-darter

apoch: I've been throwing darts for years and think that I have gotten fairly good at it. I think it's a miracle if I can hit the triple 20 with all three throws during my turn. I think I've done it only twice in my two decades of dart throwing. So, for this guy to get all of his darts, with every single throw, exactly right he wants them is just mind boggling to me. The next time you're someplace that has a dartboard, give it a try. A) you'll see just how hard it is to get even one dart to go exactly where you want it to go and 2) it's fun.

Is there still a plan to work with the messages in a thread? They kind of bleed into each other, making it hard to read.

Eagles Make Playoffs in 44-6 Rout of Cowboys

Just throwing this out there, SD was 3-7 outside of their weak division.

Eagles Make Playoffs in 44-6 Rout of Cowboys

Don't forget that San Diego whupped up on the Patriots back in week 6 of this season. Just thought I'd throw that out there.

Eagles Make Playoffs in 44-6 Rout of Cowboys

I feel bad for the Patriots, seeing as they are sitting at home at 11-5 while the San Diego Chargers are hosting a playoff game next week at 8-8. I'm not a big Patriots fan or anything, but that's just wrong.

It's kind of amazing that both of the Western divisions are so bad this year. However, I think that San Diego is much better than their record indicates. Too bad for them that they have to face Indy in round one of the playoffs. Me opinion is that Indy will win the AFC this year.

NCAA College Bowl Pick'em.

Crimeny trox. Did you know something about BYU that the rest of us didn't? You put an awful lot of points on unranked Arizona to beat a top 20 BYU.

The Hoser's NFL Picks, Week 16 2008

The Bucs are dead. Give this game to the Chargers.

The Panthers are due for a stinker. Even without Brandon Whatshisnut, the Giants still win thanks to their incredible defense. G-men by a touchdown, 10-3. Which pisses me off.

And the Lions finally win one. Yep, you done heared it here first: the Day-twah Lions win a game in 2008. How 'bout that?

Manning makes MVP case in playoff clincher

You know how you can tell when Peyton Manning got really, super, for real healthy this season? The Colts started winning again. I can't think of anyone else that is a better MVP candidate right now. I'd love to be a homer and pick a Panther, but their resurgence has been team-wide and not really just a single dude.
