This set of "triplets" to be placed in the Cowboy "Ring Of Honor" Smith, Aikman, and Irvan are to be honored this year by being placed into the teams "Ring of Honor" This has sparked a lot of discussion on the "talk shows" as to who is/was the best trio (QB, RB, andWR) in the NFL. The Trio of Montana, Rice, and Craig were mentioned as being better. Other sets of triplets were brought up as well from the Bills, Steelers, Packers, Dolphins and so on.....It would be interesting to see who everybody thinks is the best "trio!???

Terrell Owens pays Jesus the ultimate compliment... of course, the Son of God never tried to get an already mammoth contract restructured for his monetary benefit, or threatened to bolt town after one year of a seven year deal. So, I guess T.O. isn't God, just God-like.

At long last, let's drop the puck? Hockey players approve labor deal; 90% for.

I think the logical thing to is to quit watching and attending any games. The NHL seriously thinks that they can string along the rapidly decreasing fan base and just come back? The only people happy to see them back live in Canada, and who the hell cares about Canada (unless youre a Canadian of course). Bottom line I dont think it will matter if they strike in 6 years, because it will still be getting the same coverage as the WNBA.
USA Can Keep 2000 Track Gold The Court of Arbitration for Sport has ruled that the 2000 Olympic Champions in the 4x100m relay can keep their gold medals ... well, except for Jerome Young, who's a dirty rotten cheater. Also dirty rotten cheaters: the USOC, who caught Young doping in 1999 but covered it up; and relay team members Alvin and Calvin Harrison, who are currently serving suspensions for post-2000 doping offenses. Hurrah for the champs!

Why isnt congress doing something about this? Um...because who gives a flying shit? Every track star dopes, and if he/she doesnt then they arent competitive. I am betting you think that is what congress can fix, but I think you are wrong. Why dont we try to remove track all together instead of waisting our congress' time with shit that doesnt matter.
Barry Bonds an Angel? At the end of his column today, Randy Youngman helps spread the rumor that Barry Bonds could become an Angel next season. I think I'll move!

The media is a cancer that is slowly eating away at the greatest nation in the world (America for you liberal retards). Any of you that think athletes owe us anything for the money they make are way out of line. I think they make more money than they can spend, but they are the main ingredient in a product that is worth what they are paid. Should we pay them less and give the money to Africa or some other 3rd world country that is too ignorant to take care of them selves. Maybe we should end hunger with that money. I love all the people who think that athletes and celebritys belong to them.

Rafael Palmeiro and the Keltner Test What is Rafeal Palmeiro's chances of making the Hall of Fame? SportsFilter columnist Grum@work uses the Keltner Test to find out.

Palmero is like an iron man. He isnt very good and never has been, but if you do anything long enough you will eventually put up numbers. Dont hold your breath on him going to the Hall his first few tries. Somebody will probably argue the point that it would mean alot to his people (Mexicans or where ever in the hell he's from).

I know you dont mean that Volfire, I am way more entertaining. You need people like me in your life so that you can feel validated that all the wierd thoughts you have all day arent worse than the things I am saying. I say what most people just think, and for that I would say that Im a good man....no a great man.
Mavs owner Mark Cuban to buy the Pittsburgh Pirates? Local writer John Perrotto, citing Cuban as a "lifelong Pirates fan" says: "To have a risk taker own the Pirates would be a refreshing change of pace from people who run their business like most newspaper people do, cut everything to the barebones and try to bleed as much profit as possible. Just as important, Cuban would bring some personality to a franchise in desperate need of some revitalization." However, he adds "Alas, Cuban buying the Pirates is likely nothing more than a fantasy. While McClatchy has said he might consider stepping down as CEO after next year's All-Star Game at PNC Park, the Nuttings provide the money behind the operation and are said to be in it for the long haul, particularly as long as the Pirates are profitable. Thus, the chances of seeing Cuban sitting in McClatchy's seat are slim, even if it is great fun to speculate on what might be."

Yeah thats what we need, Cuban to spit in the face of our national past time. I can see it now Cuban upset at the ump wandering on to the field giving those white trash Pittsburgh fans the idea that its ok to do that. I dont think it would be just a bad idea for Pitt, but a bad idea for baseball.

Move over, Danica! Katherine Legge gets second win of season in Toyota Atlantic series.

Ok, what the hell happened to sports? Who cares about Danica and some other chick Legge? The media is so hungry to find minorities to do well in any sport that they create a fantasy for fans that dont follow the sport close enough to know better. From the black quarterback to chicks trying to race and play golf with men. If Danika is really fast thats awesome, it sounds like I wont be waiting as long for that beer.
