What Will NASCAR Do About 'Buschwackers?' Interesting problem. I think there should be some sort of restrictions on this, and quick or the future talent pool may suffer.

To buy out or not buy out The St. Louis Blues and Ottawa Senators say they aren't going the buy out route in the NHL's new fiscal landscape. The Red Wings have already said goodbye to Ray Whitney, Derian Hatcher and Darren McCarty. What's the right way to go about this, who needs to get the axe and who are you hoping your team lands?

Mavs owner Mark Cuban to buy the Pittsburgh Pirates? Local writer John Perrotto, citing Cuban as a "lifelong Pirates fan" says: "To have a risk taker own the Pirates would be a refreshing change of pace from people who run their business like most newspaper people do, cut everything to the barebones and try to bleed as much profit as possible. Just as important, Cuban would bring some personality to a franchise in desperate need of some revitalization." However, he adds "Alas, Cuban buying the Pirates is likely nothing more than a fantasy. While McClatchy has said he might consider stepping down as CEO after next year's All-Star Game at PNC Park, the Nuttings provide the money behind the operation and are said to be in it for the long haul, particularly as long as the Pirates are profitable. Thus, the chances of seeing Cuban sitting in McClatchy's seat are slim, even if it is great fun to speculate on what might be."

"I'm an animal? You're an animal Larry!" Well, now we know why Larry and Joe Dumars kept meeting without coming to a decision. They were negotiating a buyout. Larry Brown is no longer coach of the Pistons.

The Selling of a Red Sox Nation "Now that the World Series hangover has lifted, the Boston Red Sox are not quite the same team. This is the team with the second highest payroll in baseball, ...There is little, in the way of advantages, that separates the Red Sox from the hated rivals. This is not "America's team," as a bandwagoning Tom Hanks called them during the World Series. Although most Red Sox fans are knowledgeable and respectful (though almost obsessively passionate), a select percentage have managed gained the reputation in the media as among the most boorish and offensive in the sport"

Chris Chelios, a possible future Hall of Famer, just made the worst blunder of his career, and it wasn't even on the ice. According to TSN, Chelios said that NHL commissioner Gary Bettman (who is Jewish) should "get the gas" for his treatment of the players. Poor choice of words? Taken out of context? Just being a jackass? No matter what, Chelios just F-ed himself in the B.

The Gambler goes all in. Kenny Rogers loses his shit and attacks two TV cameramen, shoving one camera to the ground and kicking it, while cursing at and threatening other cameramen. This comes a day after Kenny refused to start claiming he had a broken bone in one hand after punching a water cooler, causing a lot of ciriticism from the local media due to the fact that this was a major game against the AL West leading Anaheim Angels. (there's the option to watch a video of the aftermath in the first link after sitting through a Crest commercial!?).

this guy is an ass, I sincerly hope The rangers suspend his retarded ass and MLB levies a huge fine, what is it sport star insanity week, after Jeremy Roenick deicided his sport doesn't need its fans Kenny Rogers goes all Dennis Rodman on someone what the fuck don't mlb contracts have behavior stipulations.
More Guillen Trash There’s a lot of tension between Jose Guillen and Angels pitcher Jarrod Washburn because Guillen thinks Washburn had a say in getting him suspended last year. The two of them had to be pulled apart last Wednesday in the fracas that ensued over the Donnelly Pine Tar incident. But Washburn has a great sense of humor and a way of putting things into their proper perspective. When asked whether he was sorry he didn’t get a chance to face Jose Guillen from the mound last week, Washburn said: "I don’t remember".

Where'd all the home runs go? If anyone out there has seen a hundred home runs wandering around looking kind of lost, call the FBI. They're missing.

Larry Brown is no Dean Smith After winning that NBA title a season ago, Brown had a chance to reshape his legacy for the history books. He had a chance to end his career with far more dignity and grace than he had conducted it. But Brown showed once again that he's the most selfish and disingenuous coach the profession has ever spawned.

Larry brown is horrible, and I live in Detroit so I would know. Hecannot make up his mindand every other week he's ready to trade away all of his players. So good luck Cleavland when on the turn of a dime he trades away Lebron and your left with nothing. I cannot waitthe day the Larry Brown saga is out of my city

Ok the deal here is all about testing. In the Cup series now you can only test at 4 tracks or something so all the owners are feiding full time busch teams to get their drivers seat time. I don't think there should be any restrictions on full time busch rides. But maybe a cap of like 7 for guys who are not running the full Busch schedule.
