steelers won the game there were a few bad or missed calls but defence wins games not offence and any smart person knows that . 49ers Lineman Dies After Game Thomas Herrion, 23, an offensive lineman for the San Francisco 49ers, collapsed and died after last night's preseason game in Denver against the Broncos. The 310-pound lineman played the 14-play, 91-yard drive that ended the game. Herrion was a standout in NFL Europe struggling to make an NFL roster who was nicknamed "Thunder" for his loud mouth on the field.

Smith #1, Rogers ??? Until yesterday everything I read said the 49ers were tossing a coin over using the first pick on Utah's Alex Smith or Cal's Aaron Rodgers. Halfway through the first round, the Niners did take Smith but Rodgers is still sitting in the audience and Donovan McNabb's mom is consoling his mom. Why has the Cal star dropped so far? Would you have taken Smith? What are your choices for biggest surprise, worst and best selections?

Smith is the best 1st round pick this year nobody in the draft deserves the 1st pick this year next year will be a differant story i wouldnt mind first choice next year and then the decission would be the qb from texas or usc so this year they should have traded it away for jerry rice and did what they could with what they got

Now T.O. has been reduced to tears on TV, saying he may have to hold out after one year played on his seven year contract! Every dictionary from this point forward should include two separate definitions of the word "contract." One should relate to the word 99.9 percent of the human population understand "contract" to mean, and the other definition should be what pro athletes feel it means.

TO is getting what he deserves hes a f------ punk I met TO as a rookie and he was a asshole to my 7 year old son who asked for his auto he thinks hes better than Jerry Rice or the other big stars in the NFL (which really stands for TO's carrer NOT FOR LONG ) Im the biggest niner fan in the world and hated him as a niner and was glad to see him go
