Warriors Beat Mavericks in Series Opener The eighth-seeded Golden State Warriors pulled a huge upset on the top-seeded Dallas Mavericks Sunday, beating them for the fourth time this season. Mavs Coach Avery Johnson is being criticized for changing to a centerless, small-ball lineup. "Why is the top seed in the entire tournament allowing Golden State to dictate the matchups?" asks Fort Worth Star-Telegram columnist Randy Galloway.

Excuse me I am just simple country girl from Texas and I cant get my mind around this. Did the Mavericks win 67 games or did Golden State? I am sure starting Nowitzski as center had nothing to do with their loss. I am with warstda, why fix it if aint broke. I was really hoping this morning to see the headlines, "cowboy hat wearing cubans 1 ---- rice a roni 0. Oh, well, Wednesday we will see.
